Firing 6mm BB pellets these models are great for game days, plinkin and fun gunning. The energy generated by AirSoft guns is between 0.2 and 1 joules. To give you an idea, 0.5 joules is equivalent to the energy generated by the fall of a tennis ball from a height of 1 metre. These models can look realistic so we will only sell to individuals over the age of 18. We also stock a range of accessories for your Airsoft guns, such as BBs, gas, targets, protective glasses,holsters and many more. There are 3 main types of Guns. Spring operated. Single action weapons. These are usually the cheapest, although there are sniper rifle versions of very high quality with extended range and accuracy. There are also some excellent quality shotguns with good range and spread. Gas operated. Semi auto and rarely fully automatic weapons. Almost exclusively pistols and smaller submachine guns. Some are blowback having operating slides. Gas tends to be expensive and the pistols themselves are more expensive and more prone to problems. AEG AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC GUNS These operate using a battery to drive a gearbox. This in turn operates a piston which forces air into the chamber and pushes the bb down the barrel. Most of the full auto with ROF from 600 to 1000 rounds per minute depending on model. Not very often used in pistols due to large size of batteries needed to operate the firing system. Whats a Hop-Up The basic theory of Hop-Up is spin theory. When the BB bullet is shot, there is a friction put on the upper side of BB Bullet, the BB bullet spins up-ward.
